The Gmail app from Google was rumored last month by MG from TechCrunch and today it launched. I downloaded the universal iOS app as soon as I see Twitter going mad with download links to the App Store. I was looking for a application for having 3 Gmail accounts and have quick notifications and to be able to use exclusive Gmail features on iOS. iOS Mail.app talk to Gmail as a standard IMAP so it dums down Gmail. Once I downloaded the app on my iPhone to start with, I got a error straight away on boot. I took a screenshot of this and tweeted the image just after tweeting the screenshot, I noticed other tweets with the error so I knew I wasn’t alone. So after all the hype, Push notifications are not working, you can only use one account and the app itself is not a lot more then a webui with push support.

Google at the moment I would give you * out of *****.

Google Releases Gmail for iOS

BOOM!!!! We have been hearing rumors of a Gmail app for iOS for a couple of days but we was not expecting it today. So the Gmail App is a Universal free app from Google which features notifications, threads and priority inbox.

Worldwide Mac browser share hits 6.9%, iOS takes 62% mobile share

I believe Mobile Safari is the best Web browser on any mobile phone and tablet today. I think Android is crying out for Chrome.

iOS App Update: 4oD Catch Up by Channel 4 Updated

The universal iOS 4oD catch up by channel 4 received an update today to version 2.0.1. This small 3mb free update included bug fixes for issues reported by a number of users.
